Berghaus Kit Review

It is with regret that I announce that this blog will not be featuring a user test/ review of a bottom of the range item of Berghaus equipment.
This decision has been taken in order to preserve the unique character of the blog and it's place as an island of integrity in a festering sea of venal commercialism.

I apologise to those of you who are considering buying a fleece/hoody/rucksack, but feel you  need just one more opinion before you make your purchase.
How about some rock n roll instead ?

    1. Cheers, Trevor. Good luck with the bike test - just don't tell them the kind of mileage you do !

  4. Did you have Govt Mule on here before? I thought I had discovered him independently the other night.

    ;0)

And, indeed, down with reviews. Why shouldn't everyone else make all the same mistakes as me when they buy stuff?

    1. As I recall, you also "independently discovered" gravity, DNA, and the Higgs boson.
Have they been on before ? Fuctifano. Can't remember if I've had my tea yet.

  5. I clicked on "not", thinking it was a link to some fancy Berghaus gear review....

    Whoops!

I do like your David Ackles, though. Ta, OM

    1. Yeah. I thing Berghaus overdid it recently by carpet bombing the blogosphere with freebies. Every second blog you read for a while had the same formulaic reviews. Counter productive in my humble opinion.

  6. Even Teddy got one and though great, if he's lucky it might even be a pair of boots, which are needed, as moneys tight (Beer and Tobacco) What did they offer for a review :- well first off their good will if I mentioned them x3 times in a blog post ! after Teddy's reply they offered a "Benny" hat, Teddy's reply was "Bollocks !"
