Indeed I did. He opened for JR & Jacquie McShee at university one evening - a very fine ragtimey player. I subsequently met him when living in Wales and have had contact with him again recently. He's still underrated, sadly!

I hope your dressed Black tie when you write it up - dinner jacket ,trousers, uncuffed, with one stripe on leg seams; shirt (stiff wing or soft folded collar) with either a pleated, piqué, or ruffled front; a black bow tie; a black evening waistcoat or a cummerbund; black, patent leather or calf Oxfords or court shoes; cuff links and shirt studs ? cheers Danny
