LOL - my Montane Smock is more wind-proof than this bird-chopper!
Judging by the rust-staining where the blades are fixed on, it's probably a good thing that this turbine came down in one go rather than in pieces due to a catastrophic top-end failure involving high-speed blade-loss.
The middle-man's head-scratching pose is a classic :-)
Oh dear, how sad. Never mind.
ReplyDeleteHmm. It ain't half windy, mum.

New regulations, to be rushed through parliament, will require all turbines to be protected by giant x leylandii hedge windbreaks.
DeleteThis made me laugh out loud in a room full of people who already think I'm a bit odd.
ReplyDeleteThanks! You've done my blood pressure and my reputation no harm at all! ;-)
Such a pity .......
Hope that room full of people wasn't a funeral, Jules.
DeleteAnd if one green bottle should accidentally fall they’ll e be 9 green bottles.......
ReplyDeletePity it wasn’t a domino effect.
That will be "green" as in"environmentally friendly" bottles ?
